Will also be listing this locally on craigslist. For Sale: $1000
Attaching 4 photos but please see full gallery here.
The basics:
Black paint, 24k miles and counting as it is actively being ridden.
Clear Colorado title in hand.
45mpg hotrodding around town, 50+ is possible with less stop n' go.
Noteworthy this season:
In the last ~5k it has seen new tires, o-ring chain and front/rear sprockets.
See photos for treadlife...a subjective thing. They're not new, not bald.
Also wanted to show rear sprocket teeth, in good shape IMO.
As I tried to show in the photos, the bike has been down before...although not in the last 7k miles; in other words, it hasn't affected my ability to ride it. In particular, note the scuffing/tweak on the headlight bracket and indention near the left knee on the tank. The headlight is aimed well, however.
The bike runs well, even in the 100+ degree heat we've been having. Goes through all 5 gears just fine. It winterizes easily, just be sure to circulate some fresh gas with sta-bil before storing it for more than a month.
Seat is in excellent shape, no tears, fading etc. Perhaps it was recovered before I got the bike? Hard to imagine it being a stock cover.
All electrical is functioning.
Speedometer/Odometer are functioning and accurate. The tach cable has disconnected...never really needed to replace it.
Rear brake is operable but I do have a fresh set of Yamaha OE pads I can pass along.
Also have a digital/pdf shop manual to share.
Bike has been garaged the past 3+ years but I also have a cover to go with it.
Please post with any questions or things I've left off. I'll try to be prompt with replies.
Thanks for checkin out the bike!
