Karl's scrambler-bratstyle 81 XS400 SE

I'll make my own mufflers, but thanks for sharing xschris. I do have the cross over pipe and I didn't know that.
Got to shape some seat foam.

That looks awesome! What kind of foam did you use? Did you make the seat cover yourself as well?

You also mentioned making your own mufflers, care to share your plans for that? I am considering the same.

Thanks guys! I do not have such talent myself as well. The seat (without seat pan) was pretty much all made by a friend (he is the guy whose waist you can see in the picture) who works in the seat making business. The seat foam that you can see, was made out of rebond foam. He glued it to the pan and then came over so I could shape it myself and learn the process. After that he took it to the company where he works, added softer type material (he mentioned some kind of gel pad strips too, but I am not sure if he added those or not), and then he took it to the sewer, who made the cover according to my plans.
I will make straight pipes with some baffles. It's probably very loud and stupid solution and will make my bike run bad, but that was the plan.
Well that's an interesting fact eric123. Do you speak any Estonian?
Here is another stupid idea, besides straight pipes and thin seats. I drilled holes in my handlebars for the switches.

Made simple prototype brackets to add blinkers to the front and added a new taillight.

I was happy to hear and see everything working as well! Cleaned up the wires with some electrical tape.

De nada, Madsim! I will keep them coming until I am out of material.
Took off the old broken and rusty centerstand.

And this was the first ride.
Kinda stupid idea to ride without helmet, in sneakers, shorts and tank top, but in my defense I rode it very slowly and only about 100 meters just to make sure everything was working well.
