Hello! The last time you guys saw me was about 4 years ago. Back then, I was 16 and had never even held a wrench in my hands. Since then, I've become an Automotive Service Technician Apprentice and am about to get my license this year. I've learned a ton and it's pretty amazing to see where I've come from just 4 years ago.

Earlier this year, I was involved in an accident. Driver didn't see me and turned left in front of me from an oncoming lane. Bike totaled, but I was lucky as hell. Tore ligaments in my arm, and dented my tank with my crotch, didn't feel great, haha! Definitely a reality check.

The bike I built back then was essentially my resume that got my job, and honestly a very close friend. Here's my new build I finished about a month ago, right after I recovered from my accident. It's definitely a little odd, Bedliner paint, and heavily inspired by Mad Max and Cyberpunk, but it's mine and I love it. Thanks for reading!

Congratulations on your journey so far. Sounds like you have a good attitude which in this life is a huge asset. Those new tires are interesting, do they vibrate much on the road? They look more suited for your off road camping forays.

Thanks! It's definitely been a journey, learned a lot, not just about mechanics, but about myself too.

They're Bridgestone Battleax AX41's. I was expecting them to be noisy/vibrate as hell, but they surprisingly aren't, even at highway speeds. Very good grip in the twisties too, not great in the rain though. I also expect these to only last about 4000km on the road, they're pretty soft. ADV rider's seem to all be swapping to these, and for good reason. They're pretty confidence inspiring!
