The DOHC is a really fine bike. Almost totally different to the predecessors. I had a 12E and a 16M with 45 bhp and now still own a 27 bhp 12E and half a 16M, but this one lacks the original exhaust system, tank and engine... I never really liked the shape of this bike, different to its technical details! That's why I tried to modify the bike in different ways. My most interesting modification was, a Honda CX 500 B fuel tank combined with a seat and back of a XS750 and Harley Davidson exhaust pipes and XJ600 handles. However, today the working 12E looks like a DOHC as it is shown in some databases: light silver front fender, tank, plastic parts combined with black metallic parts as a contrast, yet it lacks of the blue/red decals. Maybe I will add decals, but I think I will reduce the colours to black and grey. I think I will upload some pics after I finished the modifications.
