This valve cap is broken. Half of the threads are still in the valve top.

this happened to 3 of my roommates tappet covers! had to take the head off torch around the holes a bit then grab and spin the remaining threads out with pliers. not the most enjoyable thing, but hey, you get to play with a torch!!

I feel I was lucky, I didn't need a torch.
