I haven't been online in a while but I'm encountering some issues already. It idled perfectly for a while but about 20 minutes ago it started spewing raw fuel out of cylinder 2 exhaust. I've got spark. But the plug is pure black. I replaced the plugs but cylinder 2 is still spewing raw fuel
So for getting one of those I would also need to do some dyno pulls? Or could i just watch the gauge with it bolted to the handle bars doing pulls on my road at various throttle positions?
Well I put the carbs in and it idles. It ran for about 2 minutes before I hit the killswitch. It's actually sounding perfect at idle but I dont have throttle cables yet. I know the second I give it any throttle it will have way too much gas to run properly. The pilot jet seems pretty perfect...
Haha yeah it didn't sound right so I took the carbs off and now I'm waiting on a new setup. I'm basically switching everything. I had a motorcycle mechanic order me the jets and all other parts that I would need to maybe get it to run. Also the petcock touches the choke so I have to raise the...
I got the carbs in the bike and tried to start it. I had to cover the intake with my hand after switching the intake boots to the opposite sides because the carbs together are too wide. So now I need to get a 2 into 1 throttle cable. It sputtered for a little bit before it died. And now the...
Haha I bought carbs jetted for a 250 2 stroke. The stock main jet in the bs34 carbs is 135. The main jet in the vm34 carbs is 260. Its gonna run like crap but I'll let you know what happens
My family is a bunch of construction workers that take every car to shops. I have the fastest car out of my whole family and it's a 2007 Buick with the 3.8. Now back to the bike. So what you are saying is that I'm probably not going to be able to get it to run properly on vm 34 carbs? And even...
Well thank you for your advice. I'm going to ignore what you said because I'm stubborn. But when tuning and jetting starts driving me insane I'll let you know so you can have the first laugh at my failures. But I promise you this. I will make this bike run perfect just because of how stubborn I am
