    I bought an OEM yam yb125 master. It’s 11mm instead of 14 piston so gives a lot of force on the disc. I didn’t really trust a pattern Chinese brake! It always a pain to bleed. Just have to keep at it. I think I took off the calliper in the end and clampe it onto an old disc to get the last bit...

    Well spotted xschris, that’s a challenge to do to the carbs for sure! With 3900 miles suggest you leave the engine well alone apart from standard oil change, valves, points etc. Have you ever had it running?

    I’d go with No1. Looks plenty strong enough. No 3 means cutting the carb body, hmm, and No 2 looks too close to the fold to tap.

    Y that would be a pain, but like you say it’s pretty well fixed in there. Have you tried a hole saw? I drilled out the baffles on a exhaust with one, but you may need a new drill to make a pilot hole. It’s shouldn’t be too hard, may be it’s the chrome plating that is making it hard to drill

    Two-to-one Carburetor Conversion

    So if the inlet valve on cylinder 1 opens 30 degrees BTDC, and closes at 70 ATDC, that means there is 90 degrees of rotation until the inlet valve on cylinder 2 opens. Basically the carb is in almost continuous use for 290 degrees of rotation, then has a pause of 430 degrees before opening...
