Yeah it’s an xs400r seca. I have only seen one other tank that is any where similar to this. And that was posted by the guy that responded first.

I Have seen older bikes with this exact cap on it before, my father had the same year and model And it had the same cap.

This is the tank, as you can see the gas has eaten the paint.

That Is very close but my cap isn’t that type it’s just a screw on. But that tank might actually work it’s similar enough. The only difference is the cap type. But idk if it’s the same length though.

Yeah if I could find a factory tank I would I have looked and looked can’t find one any where.

Yeah mine leaks bad from the cap area and there are pin hole leaks that are causing problems. The person I bought it from brazed the sides where some holes were. But it’s ugly now. And it’s won’t stop leaking. I tried remaking seals like a dozen times nothing works. I ended up getting a toilet...

Okay so I have an 82 seca 400 and I am wondering what tanks will fit on this with out modifying them to much. My tank is basically done with. Any help would be much appreciated!
