came off my 82 XS400. Solid, but could use a bit of paint where the tail bag sat. Postage extra. . Also have a nice Iron Rider tail bag that fits nicely on it. m selling that fits perfectly on it.

Want to go with a new clear or clear braided line. Anyone know what the i. d. of the fuel line needs to be? They come in 1/4, 3/16 & 5/16. Thanks NEVERMIND... JUST FOUND IT....1/4

Just curious - what place did you pickup your tank from? Sounds like some come in rough condition.

The dime city model looks like the smart choice. I would really like to know more about the custom wire adapter you built. ( a picture maybe ?) I have a wiring diagram but am mostly illiterate when it comes to reading it.

Saw this on eBay ......it says "universal ", but could I switch my gauges without losing my signal lights or worse? Anyone else upgraded guages?

I've always been impressed when I've seen it done on other bikes. I'm guessing it's not possible on my Maxim.. But, maybe I'm wrong....
