    OK wires are good when I ground it the light comes on I'm going to assume I need a sending unit or try to clean it I'm due for oil change anyway so I may try that after I get bike back. It's going in for carb rebuild tomorrow so will see il update when I figure it out thanks again guys

    I'll keep that in mind I'm going to try vice grips first as for screen the bolts holding that on don't look good so I didn't want to touch that yet. is the seal for the plate that holds the screen on reusable or would I have to get one or make one. Thanks again

    Thank you it was over full I checked the drain pan I used and there was almost no oil in it. I ended up siphoning some out of the fill hole cause drain plug is rounded off so next oil change I need a new plug thank again

    Hey it may be a bit late but next time you sand prim try to use a guide coat they make it in spray bomb or a rub on dust it helps spot low and high spots in prime and gives you a visual when sanding

    I will and thank you I'll have the carbs sync and valve done if it's still a problem then it's full carb rebuild odd part is its intermittent and during warmup it fine only when it get ridden around for a min it starts to creep up to about 3k

    OK so I dropped of carbs at a shop to be cleaned and adjusted while they were at shop I replaced the carb joints the ones on bike were badly cracked got carbs back and reinstalled bike runes a lot better but the idle slowly climbs and revs drop slow I don't think it's a vacuum...
