Hitman, i got the clamps from an industrial supply store, i believe its a hose clamp. Its not the standard style its a cam-lock style mine take a 10mm socket. the same type comes with aftermarket cat-back systems for trucks etc. same style clamps came with my magnaflow catback for my truck...

Volcomskater, those look dope. i've been bombing around and this thing is a bit too loud, so this is what ive got so far....was hoping to use some fmf or procircuit muffler packing between the two but its pretty tight. curious if there is something i can use between the two pipes to quiet it...

started messing around again, bates headlight and relocated signals. Renthal moto x bars without crossbar. waiting for 2.5" speedo with led indicators. anyone 'blocked off' a tach on xs400j? also will be trying out some baffled drag pipes soon....

oh yeah, i eliminated the key and am running a 'hidden' toggle switch. problem solved, i ended up stealing power from the rear brake switch spliced into my taillight 'running light'. not sure what i accidentally terminated but its good to go!

so, havent been on here much lately but back at it again! not sure what i did, but after eliminating connectors, factory speedo and tach my taillight doesn't have a running light only brake light.... any suggestions? ill tear into it again in the am! thnx

keithp, running the longer pipe did seem to help the noise abit. i also installed 'lollipop' washer/baffles an inch from the end of the pipe. i have them turned to 90 degrees which is supposed to help bottomend..... i jetted and tuned to this set-up and its works great! ksqrly, thnx! i...
