    I've brought the pilot out 2 and it idles perfectly at 1450 and no backfire and I went ahead and lowered the needle (put the clip in the 4th slot) I'm a little lean but I managed to get rid of a lot of the lag.. so honestly I feel like if I raised the needle to the third slot it might do away...

    According to the pdf service manual on this forum, I have all the right jets except for the jet needle. And the pods are from some eBay seller they're made by 2 fast? Honestly never heard of them but they gave the bike a sweet throaty sound around 4k.

    Compression loss

    Turns out my cable disconnected from the the linkage on the side of the motor when I broke the lock nut free. Got that connected and got the slack out and got my kickstart back. So there wasn't any compression loss. I guess I'm just a ding dong haha
