Looks good, it just seems like the bike is very low to the ground and might drag a peg at every turn.

Hey 87cody....
I made an electrics box for my XSDOHC chop from two old biscuit tins fixed together and filled!!!.....I plan to fit ignition into one end and starter button into the other. It will also house the fuse box etc etc.I also made a battery box from another storage tin, with some inset louvres.I looked at beer kegs also, but could'nt find any anywhere!!
I put on a couple of pics, maybe give you some ideas??

Yea, I looked for a bunch of different things to use for an electronics box but the only thing I could figure out to get the look and fit I desired was just to build my own out of sheetmetal and alot of time. I need to post some pics of how cramped everything is in there.

Nice bike clean and simply beautiful!!! If this bike doesn't inspire us all to get out in the garage ( or shed or hell the back porch) and play with our beasts nothing will ;) good work

Thanks ratrodder69, since finishing this bike I have started on a 59 Ironhead hardtail and working with my friend on his 77 xs750 café bike. I am hoping to bring the 400 to Roar on the Shore in Erie next weekend. If anyone live around Erie PA they should definitely check it out. Its a huge event with a lot of different bikes and events

Superb , one of the 5 or 6 most beautiful 400 xs chopper , i hope that mine is in this style at the finish , great chopper.

Unfortunately I do not have any pictures or videos of it in action. It runs very well but I have sold it. My girlfriend who I built it for wrecked it (no damage to the bike but she now has 3 titanium screws in her hip). Hopefully the new owner is enjoying it up in Connecticut.
