So i threw my bike up on craigslist the other day along with 4 other ones i've got and had someone interested the next day:yikes::thumbsup:.:banghead: Didn't really want to sell it but hey, the guy came by last night and took her for a ride and said he'll take it for the asking price. I'm a little bummed but I made out good on the deal.

Now i'm on the hunt for something else:bike:. Found an xs650 that i'm going to look at tonight and am either going to swap that into the 400 bike i've got or just swap necks considering the 650 doesn't have a title.

Hope it treats him as well as it treated me...

Im just ready to move on to something better.I cant own 2 bikes so I have to sacrifice. This bike is something I`ll never be satisfied with and its getting to the point like how I got with 73 enduro.parts are getting to hard to find.I just cant justify sinking a ton of cash in something I`ll never be happy with.

For what its worth, I've had an XS650 for years and have found it to be very reliable and a fun bike to own. It even played a part in meeting my wife! If you find a good 650 and take care of it, it will take care of you.

I'm in carteret exit 12 on the turnpike. Dude is supposed to come back and pick the bike up Thursday.

Well I went and bought the 650. Pretty much stole it. 81 special with 1954 miles. It def needs alot of work but I'm halfway there already. No title but I'm going to swap necks from my 400 that I have a title for.

Sorry theres kinda Hijack going here just want to say that was nice bike that you sold.It must be hard to put in all the hardwork then let it go like that.
If I buy me another bike Im not sure if I`ll stay yamaha or go with another brand.I want something with a higher topend speed of 100mph and can be ridden on the hiway without getting blownoff the roads:yikes:.I had it happen with this bike already.

Ha, I went on the highway one time with the 400 and never again. That's the reason I wanted something bigger. I have no desire to go that fast on 2 wheels.

Honestly, I really didn't put all that much into that bike. I went from bone stock to what it looks like in the pics in about 3 days. The one with the chain i've got a lot more time into and that one will be hard to let go. I was supposed to have a guy come look at that last night but he never showed. Oh well, like i said in my add, I don't have to sell them, i'll finish it and ride it myself.

Typical of people on craigslist, they reply to your ad and never show up.I think they sleep and forget about the item or they just are BS to begin with
