i'm 6'2" 250. This bikes already uncomfortable for me to ride as it is, but im hoping to have it ready for a bike show in June. Like i've stated before this is my first metric build so im basically fumbling through it on basic knowledge lol

Has anyone had success lowering the ass end without hardtailing? Can i cut the springs or maybe move the lower mounting holes back?

Just wondering, what makes your bike uncomfortable? Given your height, I would have guessed that you would want to raise the bike's height!

You could get slightly shorter springs, and or look into getting a slightly smaller overall diameter tire?

Depending on your fabrication experience, you can drop the seat down and relocate the shocks. Along with dropping the front this will get you at about 3-4" frame clearance ride height.

But i can tell you that you won't be stretching out. Being 6'2 and wanting to lower it you might be better off stretching the whole bike. Again it all depends on your fab skills.
