Hardtail Yama-Bobber project put on HOLD :(

So today i went to my local DMV, and asked what i had to do to get a title for the bike so we could make it legal... SO heres the story. A friend of outs about 4-6 years ago bought this xs400 sg so his wife could learn how to ride. well he bought it from two dykes who were moving to florida, they told him thatthey had the title packed away and would send it back up when they unpacked... well long story short they never did... so now i have to jump through fire hoops to make my xs legal FML im an inpatient person

Take it to a bikeshop, have them put a lien on it for services rendered, wait 30 days then have them sign it over to you. ive done it a few times no questions asked... unless your states laws are completely different you shouldn't have a problem going that route.
