Replacing stator

Does anyone know where to get a gasket for a 1980 stator and what the part number is
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Get a sheet of gasket material and local auto parts store,It cost about $4.Lay your old gasket on top of the gasket material.Tape it on or use thumb tacks to hold.Then trace around it to make your new gasket.
 
Why are you replacing the stator? usual suspects for the bad stator is the wire bunch. 3 to 5 wires shot. all at the same place.
 
i replaced it because i had an extra and the wires were real short on one of them and the one i replaced it with had all the connectors already. plus the guy i bought the bike from said the charging system was bad so i just replaced the whole charging system.
