Fuel Filter options

I'm sure either of those would work. Personally, I don't like screen or mesh and prefer pleated paper for the finer filtering, but that may just be my paranoia. I actually use this lawn and garden filter (rated for 5-80 hp) and have for years:

Thanks Hough, where do you get that filter please?

Goin out on a limb here, but probably a place that sells lawn and garden supplies. ;)

Do you Canucks have Home Depot or Lowes?

Those or Ace Hardware or Sears Hardware....or pretty much any hardware store. Maybe even the auto parts store. I cut off the smaller inlets and use the larger ones...which requires a little warming of the fuel hose with a heat gun- caution is the word of the day.

personally I like the sintered metal cone style. It does a good job with particulates.
Any thing else gets through likes like ice tea.
