Convert front wheel to rear

PS width of my tires will only be limited to what I can safely run on the rim on the front. On the rear, not only is the rim width an issue, but obviously it can't get into the chain.

On the front I'm swapping on an '06 GSXr 600 triple tree and inverted forks.

FYI, CBR929RR triples will accept those tubes and are the right size for the neck tube of the XS400 frame. I have a set but haven't mocked them up, so I can't verify 100% on that, but they do use the same bearings.

Others on this forum that know far more than I do about the XS400 informed me that only the European models received the 18" rear mag wheels....

If you can't find one, you can't find one, but whoever said that is wrong. Like I said, I have one and several other people here do.

Thanks! I already have the complete GSXr front end (triple tree, upper and lower forks, calipers, handle bars, etc). I'll try to make this work, first. I expect to have to do some machine work somewhere. If it doesn't work out, I'll look into the CBR triples.

Found Avon rear tires 110/80 18. Would that fit the front wheel in a rear conversion? Am interested as I am looking to convert front to rear too. Heard that the virago crowd convert front to back...
