Finally making my introduction.

I posted some time ago my son's XS400 we built him as a first bike. I really never took the time to introduce myself. I live in Clearwater, Florida and am biding time till retirement at my day job for a few short more years, then I can create motorcycles full time. Trained at MMI in the 80's I have that advantage over a lot of today's builders. I have another 400 waiting it's place in line.. I'm thinking Desert Sled type build with a late model dirt bike upside down front suspension for it.

Here are a couple of pictures from last weekend when I "stole" my sons XS and a friend took the SR250 I helped her build over to the Vintage Iron show in West Palm. We had a day in the mid 80's on Sunday to ride A1A south along the beaches. Hope these pics help everyone up north warm up. You have no idea how lucky you are.

your build is sorta like mine! what tires are you running? they look like the Firestone champions, but a bit different.

we're having an 80 degree day today in AZ, so I'm about to go out on a ride myself!
