What did you do with your XS today?

Like to see what your iPhone mount looks like. I'm getting one tomorrow. Feel like a traitor to the droid camp, but gotta do it. Thinking about building a bluetooth headphone parts into my helmet. But would be fun to do iPhone video from the bike. Was that your intention?

Raised the bike off the ground... with ratchet straps looped over a beam.

Picked up my new tires from the post office, plus rim tape and new tubes.
Went cheap and got the Duro HF319 3.00 for the front and HF308 3.5 for the back.
Vintage style, stock sizes, and only $38 for the front and $56 for the back.
Probably won't last too long but for the price I'm not too concerned.

Going to take the wheels off and have a local shop put the tires on.

Got the levers for my rearsets rough-cut out of the bar stock today.

Took the 80 out for a nice long ride. It was very windy here  The bike and I got pushed all over the place.

Ordered a new muffler for my non-shiny non-new 2-into-1 header, standard Emgo 17" black reverse cone. I'm hoping it won't be too obnoxiously loud.

Yes 292 :) I only weigh 165 so  I later took the 82 out. That was a better ride as it weighs 100lbs more.

@xchris, I had thought that might be a bad thing, when I seen you shaving off the wt's. were you shaving wt, for fuel economy, or for the ultimate gift for the wife? a Bike she can pick up?

I do/did it for a quicker bike. My wife don't ride or touch the bikes. I tried getting her into them a long time ago. Being a nurse she can see what happens when things go wrong. My wife and I do take rides on the two razz's we have. They only do 35-40mph and weigh 115lbs:)
