Does anyone know the size of that O-ring that is on the valve body?

Both of my carbs are leaking, after I cleaned them I can see that those O-rings lost their flex, and valve body is somewhat loose when inserted. I put some grease around them and it fixed the problem, but I am sure it is not for long.

edit: I have xs400h (special 2) bike, and my search suggests 7.1mm (internal diameter) x 1.6mm thick ring. If anyone could confirm it I would really appreciate it. Also, if anyone knows where to buy please let me know. (I see many online shops, but really would like to stop by a store on way home and put my bike together tonight).

They are not o-rings but seals. If the shafts have play in them your bodies are worn out. They should have little to no wiggle in them when installed. The seals keep air water and dirt out of the shaft area. That's it. http://www.mikesxs.net/product/48-5021.html

I may be calling that thing the wrong way, sorry. I am talking about that o-ring/seal that is around the big part in "Carburetor Float Valve (Needle & Seat)" pair. The "seat" I guess, not the "valve body". Basically, that part where needle goes into has a ring on the outside, that one is leaking.

Seat is part number 25 in this picture, part 24 I think is the o-ring I am after:

Thank you, I hope Autozone or NAPA will have them so I can stop-by today. I am not sure what size .

So far I found on XS650 board 1.5mm thick x 7.5mm I.D, and on Suzuki board 1.6mm thick x 7.1mm I.D.

my guess - either of the two will do.

Viton they are, 1.6mm thick x 7.1mm fit just fine.

No local stores had them, so I had order online. Now I have 25 of them (well... 23 left).

How did they end up working for you? Got any extra? I will pay for shipping if they did well for the carb seat. Just wondering!

Yeah, they worked and I have them somewhere. PM your address and I'll mail you a few tomorrow.
