Riding yesterday and after about 2 hours on the bike, (low intensity, for a road test), I started getting sputtering and jumping at about 5-6k rpm, in any gear.

After a few times of this, the bike would die, and then I would have to push start it. This happened a few times, and then it started having the problem down closer to 4k rpm. Barely made it home.

Hope that works!

Any thoughts appreciated.
Friends think timing issues, mechanic I'm taking it to thought a fuel or electrical issue over the phone, but will ddx it.

Something might have made its way from the tank to the carbs, sounds like you might be lean

Or it could be rich. Or tci going bad maybe?

Fuel seems like the likely culprit. The inline fuel filter looks a bit... less filled? than I remember it being before It sat for two weeks while I fixed the electrical issues.

Battery - as far as I can tell, yes. The tender is charging it, and when I have it running it seems to charge its self fairly well.

Too cold today, couldn't get it to start (common when it's below 0 :/).

Will try tomorrow when warmer.
Will check he exhaust.

I'm guessing it the last three mileage digits..... 666 on the Odo

Its the road demons

That number follows my friend like crazy on his odometers and he is always having issues with his bikes.
