I've been trying to find some 55mm pods for a 82 dohc 400. I have only been able to find k&n filters. Anyone have a good lead on some? I've searched buy haven't really found the larger ones. I'm pretty sure the carbs were 55mm. Thanks

I grabbed a pair of 54mm pods off of ebay last year for $20. They fit mine, and I'm fairly sure yours uses the same carb.

EMGO pods should work fine, 54mm will fit just right. Just remember to check lean/rich indication on the plugs, you'll likely need to rejet.

How did this end up working? I have a 54mm Emgo pod in my shopping cart... Just waiting for a good response. I also will be increasing the main jets one size up from stock. Thoughts? (I have a 82' DOHC XS400)
