Hey everyone, I'm finished with my XS400 cafe build and since I used two to build one I am selling the leftovers. A quick laundry list with prices in US$follows. Prices don't include shipping and if you paypal me send me the money as a "friend" so I don't get dinged by a corporation.

Can I ask the history of the Carbs. I am interested but were they off a running bike. any known issues. and how much to ship to 06516?
 
I got the carbs along with most of the other bits as part of a basketcase deal. I haven't touched them so they are a "Shrodinger's Cat" of possibility. Humor aside, the right side vacuum slide moves smoothly but the left is stuck -probably a result of it being parked on its sidestand and the fuel slowly accumulating and varnishing over time. That's my brand of logic whatever that means. I got the parts while living in Colorado so everything was living in that wonderful dry climate with very little corrosion limited to surface patina. I'll spray a squirt of carb cleaner at the slides and let 'em sit in the sun and see if they free up. I suppose I could also open up the tops to view the diaphrams but their low price should indicate that they need a thorough going-through of cleaning. I will respond to the inquiries of shipping costs via USPS.

Hey Kyle, just to let you know, I was PM'd early this morning by another member about the carbs. As he/she responded first, I'm giving purchase priority to them. If the transaction falls through you are next in line.
 
Also if any parts of the disassembled engine catches anybody's eyes let me know your interest. I'd like to sell the complete engine but if parts can help somebody out...
 
Do you still have the forks I recently crashed mine and would be great help. I'll take the ignition just really need the advancer

Hey sorry for the slow response. Life is happening. So I don't have any forks -sorry. And I've been searching for an advancer and I haven't seen one for this engine. The ignition bits were the ones I pulled from the engine I'm using when I installed the PAMCO ignition.

I did see some advancers on ebay if that helps!
