ehat could be wrong with my bikes timing if it bounces back and forth occasionally? I checked timing with a light gun and it wasn't in the same spot every time. I was thinking it could be because I haven't fully synced the carbs and have only bench synced them..

Carbs won't affect timing. If it is actually running fairly smooth, the issue is with your timing light or technique. If it isn't running fairly smoothly, something is loose or you are measuring at varying RPM.

Ok that's what I thought but I wanted to be sure that if one side was gettIng more gas, that it wouldn't cause a timing "unbalance". Engine runs very smooth for bench syncing the carbs and until yesterday, just a static timing set. I was surprised to see how well it ran with open pipes... VERY loud lol. But I want to try and keep everything stock until I can get the engine broken in.
