Hi all. New to the site, and spannering around an xs SE 1980. It will be a cafe racer.
This is the work done so far:
New front progressive springs and rear Hagon 2810 in 340mm (+ 20mm more than original set up), and new oil, clip ons with short levers, 2 custom seat, one vynil and one alcantara. Motone button x3 on the left and x2 right. Bike will run a motogadget M unit with custom harness. Custom electric tray. Engine should be ported to remove scratches in the cylinders, I presume the left only as it use to smoke).
Still don't know what to do with the carbs, if keep the original with pod filters or get some performance ones. Still reading around..
One question. I have an Antigravity battery 4 cells, very small, looks great and should be enough to run the bike counting mainly on the kick start. I would like to place it in a box, lying flat under the electric tray. Would I risk any problems of EMI (electromagnetic interference) do you guys think?
The image is for my actual custom GN 250, my last build.
First of a long series of posts, thanks in advance for your feedback.
