Well guys it's been almost a year since I posted any content here but I have made a substantial amount t of progress. Looking over the thread I knew that I couldn't just leave it unfinished. Since I last posted I have re shaped my foam seat, custom upholstered my seat cover, repainted my tank, completely disassembled the bike for a thorough clean, reassembled the bike, painted some bits on the carbs, and a crapload of wiring. I am pretty dang pleased with the current state of the bike. I still have some odds and ends to finish up but i am just happy to be able to cruise around the block for the time being. Enjoy the pics and please don't hesitate to leave constructive criticism.
As of right now I still need to figure out how to attach the wrong brake cable to my drum or order a new one, fabricate a final battery box and mount it, weld the seat pan, finish up wiring loose ends, and brace the foot pegs a little better. After that I will register it and enjoy the open road.
