I've been playing g a lot with small displacement for the last few years after having had a triple 400 2 stroke kawasaki and an xs 650 and 1100 in the past

The wife found this the other day for a heck of a deal it's an 82 or 83 we are waiting on the title. She needs a bit of work the old owners said it was flooding out on 1 cyl the front brake is in op and it didn't have a battery. The battery came yesterday filled it and charged it but all it did was click. I pulled the starter hooked it to a good car battery and nothing. Took it apart and cleaned it now it turns pretty good hooked to a car battery. Ill put it back in tomorrow and give it a try. I've pulled the carbs apart and did a quick cleaning found the right carb had crap keeping the float needle from closing and the jets plugged from sitting. I need to grab some new plugs right side was black as can be from running pig rich and the left side looked lean. I have a spare caliper I picked up and a spare set of carbs to rebuild now I just need to get a decent master if the starter works

Welcome to the forum. Nice looking stock bike you have, hope it stays that way. Not many do anymore.

Welcome to the forum, same model I have although not so much anymore.
Looks like you still have the right side cover...that's pretty rare.
