hi just introducing myself with my first post. Been a member on here since 2016 when I first purchased 3 xs400s to restore.

My names sean and I’m from a place called wareham in Dorset uk. 2 of the bikes I have are runners and the other is for spares. Plan is to restore one to its original look, with maybe a few newer mods, suspension, handlebars, better brakes, exhaust etc and the other I want to make into a brat style bike. So just looking to talk to like minded people that can offer advice etc

from England i see - am in the process of restoring a 400 at the moment
spares /parts not too common in uk - did not sell many 400 but many 250 parts are the same - lots of bits in America and Germany - more popular bike in those markets - we all bought rd400 didnt we- but can be a bit expensive with import +postage charges.good luck with the builds

Hi sean. I asked a question yesterday regarding side panel fixings..not had reply yet.. thought you might be able to help..im rebuilding /flattracking a 82 xs400 at the mo. good luck with your projects..... Higgy.. sandwich Kent
