I've taken apart my carbs to rebuild (due in part to a fuel leak).

Clever previous owner hadn't replaced all the bolts and had placed two gaskets in one of the bodies and none in the other.

Anyway the bolts are all pretty rusted out and a few other parts will need replacing.

My question is; I'm searching on ebay and what is available for the 1981 is https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Yamaha-X...435651?hash=item1a3e018103:g:4fQAAOSwi19a4ycX

Which doesn't contain anywhere near as many parts as others e.g https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/112709520543?ul_noapp=true

Do you think the latter will work?

The second is for double overhead-cam bikes. Won't work in yours at all.
First one should be good.

I'll have to remember to check the site when I get home but there are some decent carb bolt kits available. I believe they were out of France. Stainless steel Allen key bolts.
Bought a kit for my XS360. Might do the same for my 400.

Thanks, I have bought the first one but will still need bolts. Can't find any on ebay (other than from lands far away) any clues as to where to look or what specs of them are if I need to buy individually.
