I’m hoping this is the right group of enthusiasts who can make her getty-up again. My Dads XS400 had been sitting in the garage for 20 years when I took ownership. Dad had passed and Mom asked me to take it. It’s now in my garage, but I’ve not had the time (I travel for work), nor the experience, to get her running. I removed the taillight and signals (sitting in a box), and bought a few parts, crank, seals, years ago, just didn’t make it happen, and because of the fond memories I have, riding with Dad and on my own during high school, I just didn’t want to let her go until now. I’m looking for the right person to do what I haven’t. She’s got 4977 original miles. Cost...a fair ‘make me an offer’ price for a good looking non-running classic and a pic/video of you when she’s running again. Whatever the offer, I’ll donate 25% to this forum!

Dang...……….that's a beauty you have there I wish you were closer...…..I am on the search for a stocker that can be brought back.....

Well...make me an offer and bring her back. I also have an aluminum bike ramp that I’ll throw in the deal for customer pickup!

Would love to but...……...you are way to far from the great northwest...……….if my kid would have picked Texas for college well maybe.

I hope it don't end up another cut up what ever I feel like just because it's what people do to these things bike. It makes me a bit sad. If you were closer I would snatch that first year bike up.

It won’t. I want it to go to someone who will restore her and enjoy her!

Sorry that is beyond my travel range...although I would love to have it!
....still looking for a 77 tank....that is the tough part. Without the square tank you are left to modify. The standard tank mounts are located differently and the seat section doesn't match up.
