Trying to avoid tearing things apart just to see what to order. What parts should be replaced on a main seal? Obviously the seal (32) but I assume also the collar (33)?

#35 is a part that should be replaced as well. You might also consider going up one tooth on the drive sprocket or just getting a new one if you plan on having new driveline parts.

Im unsure of the collar, as I left the output shaft unaltered when I had my engine in a thousand pieces.

Personally, I would avoid getting into the bottom end at all cost if you dont need to. If I have to do that again, id probably move on to one of my other bikes and have my XS bronzed and hung in the wall...

If the collar has seal grooves wore into it, best to replace it or you will just eat up a new seal. Just make sure it's clean and smooth. If indeed it does need replaced, sometimes things like that are offset enough that you can just flip it and install the other direction, to let the seal run on the opposite side of the collar where there aren't any grooves (assuming its a good clean surface).

Perfect, just what I needed to know. Adding collar to the order. Nothing worse than tearing into a job and then finding our you are a week a way due to parts. Thanks!
