new tracker on the block

Requium, that whole area is under tension for the most part, the passenger peg brackets dont provide any support, definitly looks more agressive with them off

alright that is good to know :) Probably gonna take mine off as well then, still need them at the moment though, as the right peg contains the 'stop' for the center stand

definitely looks more agressive! :agree:

new shoes are awn
I should have the rear hoop/frame back from the shop 'morrow and can finally chop this thing up:bike:

you need to put the rear shocks back on!! every time i see the bike I think its a monoshock...gets my hopes up

what are you planning on for shocks? those tires look killer the rear seems like a good comprimise between knobby and street

haha...sorry man
I went with 14 3/8" MDI shocks which came in last week. The entire mid and back end is getting chopped off this weekend so they'll go on onto the new frame right after:bike:

Options are pretty limited when it comes to 16" DS tires:D it was the Duro vs Bridgestone TW40 Trail Wing. It'll do for now, until I find a donor bike and change everything over to a modern set up:thumbsup:.

haha thanks.
not sure if I want to polish the lips and spoke ribs or just shoot the wheels all black and just clean up the holes:confused:

good job!
is it the original rim on front? 1.85x18? is it ok 110/80 on this little width rim?

sorry doboy..sold my tripplebeam a few years ago :D

Niko, it's a stock rim, not sure what width rim, I didn't measure it. I just installed the tire and it fits great. :bike:

Man I love the front tire, I've been planning to use the K761 since I started last year, and I ordered them last week. Good to see it on the bike.

had two good sessions on the weekend and after about 10-12hrs here's where I'm @
I used the existing frame as my jig, and with a few clamps I got the new frame/hoop to where I wanted it. Trackers seem to sit low for obvious reasons, but this being my street bike, it has to feel good on longer rides:bike:

I kicked up the frame 1" at the original shock mounts location

new shock mounts, shocks and some extra bracing which will hide the battery and relays. The seat hoop is a set of bent handlebars cut to fit. They had a 2" rise and was exactly the right width and bend for the seat pan:D

Looks good man! Nice work!

The only thing I would say is that the bike would look a lot better now, to me at least, with an extended swingarm....I know it isn't carrying with the "tracker" feel, but it seems to me that a longer swingarm is needed to fill in the space under the new rear frame material. Just my opinion though man, I'd still ride it as is...haha

thanks guys... I'm working a guy on a wrecked 09 gsxr. It would mean reworking the frame AGAIN:doh: in order to fit the fat swingarm...something I'll leave for next winter, once I have more time on my hands..fer now, spring is in da air and I wanna ride:bike:
