Gotta have the tunes! Depends on what I'm workin' on or the mood and whatnot. Heavier stuff for fabricating and lighter stuff for cleaning/wiring etc lol! Its usually...

Dubstep (Bassnectar, Flux Pavilion etc.). The soundtrack to Tron Legacy! Some reggae with Bob/Damian Marley or Trevor Hall. Gotta have some Modest Mouse, White Stripes or the Limousines. Kid Cudi, Avenged Sevenfold, Tech n9ne, Slipknot, Darius Rucker. A little bit of everything for sure!

listen to tool. as you turn your head to scan around you, it makes you feel like your paranoid, just because of the music. try the song "rosetta stoned" by tool. trust me. mind blown.

i listen to mostly everything. deathcore, dub step, alternative, 80's one hit wonders, blues. i got it all covered. and EVERYTHING stated by fb0mber

My roommate thankfully put in satellite radio and speakers on the porch so i will turn on the reciever as I walk out to the carport and its either alternative or country (country makes me feel better with beers in hand) ha ha

classic rock, metal rock, rock n country(fast pace upbeat country music like garth brooks, kid rock, travis tritt etc...)

I listen to death metal, brutal death metal, and some black metal! Mostly classic, but some new. Morbid angel, Necrophagist, Deicide, Bloodbath, Carcass, Immortal, Death, Dying Fetus, Decapitated, you know, the good stuff. I can work on my bike forever with death metal!

Gotta have tunes. Its a rule in my house that you have to have 3 things while working on a vehicle (the rule used to be for cars...but then I got a bike and my dad had to change the wording): 1) Coffee, 2) loud music, and 3) a cigarette.

Its always rock in our shop. Old rock, new rock; it doesnt matter. As long as you can jam to it and it gets you in the groove: its all good

Lotsa country, rock, metal, heavy metal, alt. Damn near anything. Have fans from different genres like Jason Aldean and Big & Rich, lynyrd skynyrd, Metallica, System of A Down, Green Day, Disturbed, Rammstein.....

This group I just heard and IDK WHY, But I like it. I'm just a bid off....

EDIT: Warning, some "Off" Language.

I like to listen to some mumford and sons or along those lines. If I'm not feeling that it's jazz. Keeps me from getting to mad at stuff that doesn't work.

I listen to classic rock from the 70`s and 80`s mostly Then some modern rock and christain music. Not much into into country even though I spent better that 20 years in the south.

Sounds really sad , but i have a playlist for the workshop , consists of linkin park , metallica , Korn , the eagles , bit of the rolling stones anything that takes my fancy on that day

Lately been listening to Netflix. Works well for background noise I don't get lost in. Plus, if I need a break from whatever I'm working on, I just turn around and watch an episode of Top Gear or the like. Music, classic to modern rock. Up-beat stuff to keep me movin.

Unfortunately I dont,My radio/cd isnt working in the truck either.I could take my old shop radio with me if I had the room but since I moved I dont.:banghead:

I have always had music in my garage. I don't understand why others wouldn't. Occasionally I will play a CD, currently there is a '70's '80's Reggae mix and the sound track from O Brother where art thou and a George Thorogood live discs in the player. But by far I have the radio on to classic rock. I instinctively turn the radio on when I enter the garage. The other day I went into my garage, turned the radio on, and thought why did I come here, oh yeah I need my calipers. Got the tool turned the radio off.

I´m in the garage the whole day log cause it´s my job. :D

Usually I listen to a local radio staition.
But sometimes I´m getting bored from stupid mainstream music, then I need a song like this:
