Greetings from the Great White North (xs360 build)

Sorry fellas, since flikr deleted my account for reasons unknown, I haven't felt compelled to update the thread. I will post a pic upon completion.

You know you can also attach the photos directly to your post here. that way you can avoid a third party photo hosting site

So my thread died for a bit, as flickr deleted my account. I've re uploaded most of the pictures to bring it back to life. Lots of work has been done since I last posted, and I'm still on track to have the build done well before spring.

Went up north over the weekend and was able to get my tank primed. It was an interesting situation, as it was in a barn, -10 degrees out, and had nothing sheltering us from the elements other than some vapour barrier. So, put a BBQ in the paint booth and crossed my fingers. It actually cured really nicely. Paint to follow, hopefully this weekend.

It's good to be back.

Bit of a different post going on here. My Moto3 needs a bit of a facelift, so I'll be tackling that in the coming weeks. I'm a bit of a sucker for the unconventional methods, so painting this will be a challenge.

Here's how it sits.

And some photochopping.

Couldn't really convey the textures I'm aiming for with photoshop, but I will be tackling it using some combination of water colours, pigments, and wax. Anyway, I'll post the product when I'm done.

Getting my paint on.

UPDATE.

Carbs are clean. Bike is fully stripped with the exception of the engine. Remember that suborn bolt on the cover? Yeah, it won't budge. PB Blaster, impact gun, etc. It's fully stripped and now a shameful little nub. I can't get the engine off because two of the mounting bolts are bolt in, nut out and their escape is blocked by the cover in question. Anyway, I'm taking to a welder to get a wrench welded on to it today.

Now I need some opinions. Trying to decide on bar style. I think I'dlike to go clip ons and this is one of the prettiest pictures I ever did see. Perfectly balanced, enough weight and just the right amount of negative space.

My only worry that my bike being a 360 and I'm about 5"11, that it will get uncomfortable. So it's that or go with some tracker style bars, which also look great, but man do I love the look of those clip ons. Thoughts?
Hey bud....
I took my standard XS bars, flipped 'em over, and Bobs your mothers brother......
