I'm curious if anyone rides with the original buckhorns on their xs400. Anybody got any insight into handling? Why do you like them better? What did you hate about them?

i was lucky enough to aquire an original set of air boxes for my xs. Can anybody recommend where I can find a set of rubber grommets for the airbox? Basically they are a set of rubber seals that seal the airboxes to the rubber intakes.

Hey guys. I'm a new owner of a 1980 xs400. This is also my first motorcycle. I'm trying to get an idea of what the speed range for each gear is. Like whats the fastest I should be going in 1st before I should switch to second, third, etc. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
