Hi Wolfie 11B, yes it is real paint, couple base coats in silver then 3mm masking tape three coats of red base coat then peeled of the masking tape then two coats of clear two pack lacquer.

Hi all, have not posted for a while have been busy but I have finally got the paint on

High all, have nearly finished my café racer rebuild but it will not start, I have a spark and fuel is coming through, although the left hand cylinder does seem lean. Have cleaned the carbs twice now. Be grateful if anyone has any ideas. Cheers Andy

Hi all, can anybody tell me why my 1978 model has rubber discs between the cooling fins

Have just got my hands on a 1978 xs400 with drum brakes all round and am looking for a tank and seat to turn it into a café racer classic. Am new hear and would appreciate any help. Cheers Andy
