BS360, the video with the strobe is the left cyclinder. That just got me thinking, the video shows the left cylinder, but it is hitting the top mark. So, should it be hitting the bottom mark? I will shoot a couple of vids tonight. One left and one right.

Thanks Guys! The manual does not say how to adjust the timining without points. The left coil has a intermittent pause not sure that could be a cause of any problems. I also ran into the problem of it running rich and carbon fouling plugs. I think I need to pull the tank back off and adjust it...

It was the spark timing. I think the PO messed with it.

Are u talking about this? I'm not sure on the timing. My thought was that the timing was off. But it is electronic, so no adjustment?

Well dang! I thing my cable it just to stretched out. May have to buy a new one or try and get on made. Thanks for replying!!

Awesome job! :bike: With those bars, did you have to shorten the front brake cable? I have bars that are close to the same and I can't get it adjusted far enough for the front break to catch correctly.

Just an update. I pulled the front back apart and then put it back together with the same bearing. What I found is that, when tightening the nut all the way down for the bearing to seat on the stem, it makes it loose. I checked it as I slowly tightened the nut, it was tight at the top of the...

That's what I was thinking. I will just buy the AllBalls of their web site. It's specific for the XS400. Not to bash Mikesxs, but they have way to much that is to broad. I order the bearings and a cable that said in the description it was for an 1980 XS400, they don't even fit. I will start...
