Where did you order your engine gasket set from? I've got DOHC Seca as well, and my right cylinder started to smoke like a sinner :( pulled the engine yesterday will start the take down tomorrow.

I'm in the process of bringing a Seca back from the dead, the engine is running great, minus a clutch cable stretched to death. However I'm having some problems with the front brake, and was wondering if anyone can give some advice. This piston cup is stuck, I bleed the brakes and pumped it out...

You can always do the redneck test, and stick a screwdriver down in the plug wire, then hold it next to a ground and see if it jumps. Maybe not the best way to figure out if you don't have spark or not but it works.

Big thing to remember on the SECA and Maxim, if you run the stock airbox you have to keep the uneven main jets, and you can't flip them around either, much like I did last night.

Thanks for the all the tips, with a a bit of time CLR and Pine-Sol, I was able to get the jets cleaned and open. Idling well now, however it died after coming down from rev, suspecting it was a vacuum leak, as I didn't put the air-box back together all the way, or any of the boot clamps on! Next...

Thanks for the info, I'll mess around with it a bit, and try to clean it out again. The carb was not care for at all, so I'm having a hell of time getting it to idle. Hopefully when I get it back a part again. Anything I can soak the jets in overnight?

Does anyone know where I can get a carb rebuild kit for the DOHC engine in the states? I need both main and pilot jets, unless anyone has some tips on cleaning jets are really really dirty. I'm also open to options with performance/aftermarket carbs if anyone even makes one for the DOHC. Let me...

How much were you looking to get for that extra shock? I'm going to look around on ebay first, but I really want to put something in the bike that's clean, as I'm going to go ahead and repaint most of it, to get a good coverage to fight away the humidity.
