Agreed! I just got the new carbs built this weekend. I plan on getting carbs in and exhaust back together in the next few days. Then I'd like a long ride with no more troubles.

I wouldn't return the impact. They are great tools to have for any project but leverage with a longer bar would be better for this job.

Thanks for the tip on the classifieds. I do use the fuel valve but it leaks while driving down the road. Mine doesn't have a true off. Prime leaks all the time and run leaks going while driving

The wires are just a single wire from the coil to the plug. Unscrew them from the coil and look at the ends. The coil should pierce into the cable to make contact. I think the coil has like a screw inside so the wire needs to spin on and off. Then you can test the wire

Are the wire from the coils to the plugs ok? I had to trim the wires on the coil side when i got my bike because someone didn't have them in all the way. The wires had gotten burnt and corroded.

It sounds to me like you might have carburetor out of sync. The screw between the carbs adjusts to sync them. It may not be anything to do with the mix
