What is really confusing is that they move exactly the same distance before stopping dead. they rotate in position just fine, so not stuck...

@xschris were having trouble “displacing” the pivot arms. But we’re really having trouble getting the diaphragms out. They’re only budging slightly.

Hi all, I'm tearing my carbs down and i cannot get the diaphragms out of the carb body. They both move a little and then stop dead, like something is holding them from coming out any further, Both diaphragms seem the same, so I'm wondering if I just forgot the same thing on both carbs? Help!

Hey, @xschris I think I got a lead on the kick lever, so I’d just need the turn signal and yes, all the clamps would be great! Ya never know when you’ll need smaller pieces like that!

Makes sense, but I really love the look of a bike with open space under the seat, and having pods will do just that. It's all just an aesthetic thing, so I'm hoping at least someone has something good to say about pods! If everyone really hates the idea of pods so much, I may have to go back on...

@NewHavenMike Thanks for the heads up! I saw 2 full boot sets on eBay that may work, although they’re slightly damaged from normal use. The ad claims the clamps seal the little cracks, but I’m a skeptic at heart and don’t know if I should go for it. That’s what the bike looks like right now...

@sandmanred Thank you! And yeah, the boots are pretty much destroyed with cracks all the way through, I’m gonna need to find new ones as well.
