Long overdue update. Finally had the work done on the bike! Yesterday they changed spark plug caps, did the valve timing, new air filters, new head gasket, lubed and cleaned too many things to list... No more shocks, but problem is still there. Spark plug question

Re-gaped to .6mm, same problem. Drove to the mechanic and as he was checking, he got a shock off the left side. Suggested we start by changing the spark plug caps and then work from there... we have ordered them and should know if it helps next week.

    Spark plug question

Ok guys, while bike was idling, I pulled the left spark plug cap off. Bikes rpm went down a little bit... put it back on, back to normal. Then I pulled the right spark plug cap off, bike died... Does this mean I’m running mainly on one spark plug?

    Pod Filter Cleaning

Thanks for the explanation, the silver pods do smell like gas. I will try and find some uni filters for my seca... Will it be a straight swap or will I have to readjust anything on the carbs? Sorry for the questions, It’s my first bike and I’m learning how to wrench slowly but surely.

    Seca

Chain and sprockets were given to me from the previous owner, he never got around to installing them. I bought the led lightbulbs on Amazon but chose to buy good ones as I have heard a lot of horror stories about cheap ones, I figure I saved about 5 amps give or take. The valves on my bike...
