I have not done a compression test. It does feel very low, but it’s still there. That was also the first issue I encountered with the 180 out of time. I swapped the wires and it ran just fine.

I have spark on both sides and the coils are correctly wired. I do believe I have timing issues because the right side backfired on me.

Check your point gap. If it’s too high, it could prevent the transfer into the system. It’s too low, it might have a constant stream of power into the system. Check your coil temps. It might give you a clue on where to go. Wish you luck.
