Tank is done, still have a little more work on the fender. The color is called soul crystal red which is actually a Mazda color

Been a while but time for an update for anyone who cares. I guess it's more of showing off than anything. Bike is very close to being finished. Little bit of wiring, waiting on a headlight, linkage for my shifter, and an axle. Gonna sand and buff the tank and get the mounted over the weekend...

Thanks, I actually took it off a 96 virago that I have. That's what's left of it.

Had time over the weekend to get my engine mounted, tank mounted, fender mounted, and started getting my tins prepped for paint. The tank had a few little wrinkles on sides that required a little filler. Also went over the welds to smooth them out nice

The tank is from lowbrow customs, they did a really nice job with it. That's a 2.2 gallon and they also have a 2.5 gallon.

Quick mock up now that I have the frame together

Little up date, my hardtail and gas tank came today. Just mocked up the hardtail, hopefully get to welding Friday after work

Decided to cut the frame today, now it's just a waiting game

Awesome, thanks for the info. I'm planning on eliminating as much as I can from the wire harness. If the bike can run without it I don't want it lol trying to keep it very minimal

I'm trying to figure out where the individual wires go to. I know the alternator wires go to the battery and the regulator. The other one I've traced to the indicator lights and I think a relay maybe?

I'm working on my wire harness while waiting for parts and trying to figure out the two plugs that are on the list side of the motor. One comes from the alternator and the other from the neutral switch and oil temp sensor or low level sensor? Trying to look for it in the manuals but can't figure...

If I was getting spark and had good compression, I would check to see if I was getting fuel. Could be something stupid like a stuck float.
