$400 catastrophic engine failure. i do not know what happened. i do not know the extent of the damage. it will run on one cylinder. i limped it home, but there was an aweful lot of clattering for that six miles. lots of good parts and extras. i could make a lot more if i parted it out but...

Hey skillz just sharpie right on the rotor. tape it to a piece of card board, draw a straight line through apposing holes to find the center, then get yourself a compass and have at it.

^^^^ that's more like what i'd build. my plan is to take a youth quad and stretch it, put in a suspension seat down low, and put the XS motor behind the seat in place of the original. then add a cage, for safety ;), of course. i've got both donors. the XS of course and a 2006 Polaris...

i like that cart. i'm actually thinking about converting mine to an e-bike and building an offroad buggy with the XS motor.

my vacuum petcock was a problem before i blew up the motor. kept popping the vacuum line. starter motor wouldn't engage a lot of the times either. just kept trying to start it until it did. my bike was sorely neglected and poorly maintained and repaired before i got it. i have not torn it...
