no way to know till you get inside and measure.

metal filings can cause severe damage to bottom end bearings as well. the crank bearings are cheap.

can anyone snap a picture of their timing plate on an electronic ignition plate? i must have screwed up when i made the reference marks and a i need a refernce point to get close. thanks.

will my 82 coils work for points? wiring from scratch(with help), so the harness won't be an issue.

check for air leaks, hoses coming off of intake boots, seal at carb's or even the intakes themselves.

I have all engine covers avail, but i'm not sure wich one u need. can u takea pic of it. i'm in nova scotia so shipping should be reasonable.

the spin on filters are very thin metal, a rock could easily do it in. maybe with a cover....

i think there's a special puller.

i might have a set, give me a day or two to check.

how much for the headpipes?
