my carbs have the air/fuel mixture needle screws in a vertical position, not burried so you have to drill them out, just there, so you can adjust them. I have a set of carbs that came off another xs400, i think a 77, with the needles in a horizontal position, with small plastic stoppers on them...

Ive been trying to figure out how to take my tach apart, the 2 small screws that hold the number plate on, under the glass, have come out, and are floating around in there! I dont like this and want to fix it! Anybody?
