Bike leaking oil at clutch rod I think, please help! Can u change the clutch oil seal where the rod goes inside the case without taking apart the motor? Im pretty sure that's where my bike leaks and was wondering if anyone could tell me how or if there is a tech article or write up on this...

Sounds like u need to clean your carbs out, the BS34's are very picky about being very clean.

Also check ur valve clearance as well, never hurts to do that and also turn ur petcock to the prime setting while riding to bypass the vacuum opening the petcock just to make sure the carbs are getting enough fuel to keep the bowls full.

Welcome to the forum! My '81 looks just like ur bike, check my pics out. Mine came with the drum/spoke option, and I would think it would be cheaper to fix what ya got, just my 2 cents.
