I honestly didn't read that in any correct context, my bad :) I cut the positive going in before the headlight and then spliced it in.

Not trying to be a jerk here, but I couldn't tell you which wire I hooked it up to, I had my multimeter with me to figure out which was positive I wired the negative directly to the ground point

From the looks of it, if its an xs360 76-77 tank it should fit. I don't have anything I can try it on, and am just going from the info provided by the manufacturer

Fubar, When you used the coils, did you notice any extra vibration from the tank? It seems to be looser, since the coils are much smaller.

I thought I saw smoke/streamcoming from the top of the engine, will check level tomorrow. Could also be crap burning off

Just wondering what everyone else has put into their bike. I know the book says around 2.5quart, but I know the book has been wrong about a few things.

I think I'm finally good to go. Bike is running good. seems to be a lttle buzzing from the coil area every now and then. Only thing left to do now is to figure out why my speedometer is sticking

Has anyone tried the relays from superbrightleds? I was looking at changing the relay out for LEDs, don't want to bother with resistors if I don't have to.

Well gents, I got the bolt off today, did the oil change (which the old oil smelled like gas, not oil) and we seem to be off and running! Went for a few miles today to give it a quick test, no issues so far. Idle was a little high, but I lowered it at home, and now have a steadt 1.5k idle...
